MEET OUR BOARD-CERTIFIED WOMEN’S HEALTH PHYSICIANS

With extensive experience in both obstetrics and gynecology, our team of professionals is dedicated to caring for the female reproductive system. We have three primary physicians in-office, Dr. Jonathan Rehberg, Dr. Emily Allen McInnis, and Dr. Ashley Surles.

Dr. Rehberg graduated from The University of South Carolina of Medicine, completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Mississippi Medical Center, and went on to teach at UMC in Jackson. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive gynecological surgery and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. McInnis graduated from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. Afterward, she went on to complete her four-year residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She returned to her hometown of Sylacauga in 2019 and, upon joining our team, became the first female Gynecologist and Obstetrician in the Sylacauga region.

Dr. Surles is from Madison, MS. She attended medical school and completed her four-year residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson. During her first year of residency, she worked with and trained under co-resident Dr. McInnis! Providing care for women throughout their pregnancies and deliveries is one of her favorite aspects of being an OB/GYN. Dr. Surles is proud to be a part of creating and sustaining a happy and healthy lifestyle for the patients in her care.
